The Sturmgewehr 44, shortly known as StG 44 is a German 7,92 x 33 mm Kurz Assault Rifle produced by C.G. Haenel. This Assault Rifle was used by The Third Reich during World War II from 1943 to 1945. Prototype versions of StG 44 were produced from 1942 to 1943.
